Major Bollywood Movie Review 2022
MAJOR is an engaging tribute to the fearless hero of the 26/11 terror attacks. While the film’s first half is a little mediocre, its second half is riveting and anchored by the bravura performance of Adivi Sesh. While the film might not open big on the box office due to lack of awareness and buzz, it could still grow big with positive word of mouth. Let’s take a look at the film’s star cast.
Adivi Sesh
While some may find the plot to be predictable, this biopic is not. Featuring an all-star cast including Adivi Sesh, Saiee Manjrekar, and Sumit Kadel, the film is a fitting tribute to the great Indian hero of the 26/11 attacks. Adivi Sesh’s performance is intense and soul stirring. This Bollywood movie review aims to give you a better idea of how this movie will make you feel.
The film has a patriotic theme and is well-made, with action scenes that keep you riveted to your seat. The cinematography by Vamsi Patchipulusu captures the blood and emotion of the scenes well, while the editing by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi falters in tricky spots, but overall, this Major movie works quite well. Unfortunately, the movie lacks memorable songs, which makes it a disappointing movie. The music, however, is nothing new or memorable.
Prakash Raj
This Prakash Raj major Bollywood movie review focuses on the final twenty minutes of the film, when Major Sandeep declares that he is the best man to deal with the terror crisis. As a child, Sandeep is a lovable and warm-hearted actor, and we are also treated to the love scenes between him and his Telugu parents. Prakash Raj’s performance as his father is impressive, and his speech in the film is an inspirational one. The climax is a heart-warming moment, and Prakash Raj hams up the role of the martyred son.
The film has some excellent action sequences and some very good cinematography. One of the best sequences from the movie is the hand-to-hand combat, which is executed beautifully and looks spectacular. The film is also notable for the scene where Major defeats his rival with bare hands. In Telugu action dramas, there has to be a scene where the hero fights his antagonist using his bare hands, and Major has this scene as well. It is a scene that is hard to forget, and it’s also reminiscent of Mahanati (2018), where Savitri sheds two teardrops from her left eye.
Sashi Kiran Tikka
The biopic Major is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and stars Adivi Sesh, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi, and Murali Sharma. It is based on the real-life story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who lost his life during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. This film was released in the theaters on June 3, and it has received generally positive reviews from critics.
Although the film stars Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor, the film’s story is more about the sacrifices of parents, wives, and lovers who were left behind by the terrorists. Major is about those sacrifices that are rarely recognized and are often left in mourning. It is a moving tribute to the sacrifices of women and men in India. Major is a highly-recommended film, and you should definitely watch it.
Mahesh Babu
This Mahesh Babu major Bollywood movie is an interesting blend of action, comedy and drama. His last film was the critically acclaimed “Sarileru Neekevvaru”. The film’s central character, Major Ajay, is well written, rounded and presented. The film is a good choice for those who are looking for a fresh take on the current economic situation.
The film is set to hit the theatres on May 12, 2022. The film has been delayed a few times but has finally released two days ahead of schedule. Bookings for the movie started a few days before the release date. In Hyderbad alone, the film grossed Rs 2.25 crores. The film is being distributed by Amazon prime and Star Maa. We will be sure to review the movie when it hits theaters on 3 June 2022!
Sarkaru Vaari Paata
The Sarkaru Vaari Paata major Hindi movie review is a mix of fun and sour. The movie works best when Mahesh Babu is having fun, but falters when it tries to take itself seriously. The film’s director, Parasuram, is not a sensitive filmmaker, and his portrayal of Keerthy Suresh’s character isn’t terribly sensitive either. Still, he knows his audience and has managed to make his film work.
Mahesh Babu plays Mahesh, a man who grows up in a family of unpaid loans. His parents hung themselves on the roof of their home and were eventually forced to abandon their son. The government then auctioned off their farmland, and Mahesh’s parents couldn’t handle the prospect. His parents left him with only Rs 1 to his name, so he adopts this figure as his identity.
Sandeep Unnikrishnan
This Indian biographical action drama film, directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, is set in the post-Bombay terror attacks era and is simultaneously shot in Hindi and Telugu. The movie revolves around the life of INA Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, a former army officer who was killed in the 2008 Mumbai attacks. The film stars Adivi Sesh, who plays the title character, and Prakash Raj, Revethi, Murali Sharma and Anish Kuruvilla. It was shot in over 75 locations and took 120 days to complete.
The movie shows how life has changed since Major Sandeep’s rescue and he strives to make a difference in the world. While Sandeep’s life has a lot of drama, it also works as a biopic. The film depicts the story of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack in a way that focuses on the individual as a person and not the martyr. The film is a coming-of-age story, which is why it was well-received by critics and audiences alike.
